The UK’s mountain bike enthusiasts are always keen to get together and chat about the latest bikes, try them out and of course have some good food and drink whilst doing it. It is very good news then that there will soon be a great biking event where attendees could win one of Trek mountain bikes’ new bikes, all hosted by the UK’s first official cycling city, Bristol.
The two day festival, which has been affectionately named Mudstock, is the focal point of a two week celebration of cycling and the bicycle in Bristol, recently named as England’s only official cycling city. The award gave the city large grants to improve facilities for cycling in the city as well as promoting the sport for its health and environmental benefits.
Trek mountain bikes, among other brands, will be being demonstrated for the attendee’s viewing pleasure. There will also be group rides for varying ability levels.Visitors to the event will also be invited to attend talks by leading figures in mountain biking which should prove to be crowd pleasers.
The event is free to get in to and everybody is welcome, regardless of whether they are great riders or not.Beginners and pros alike are all welcome. For beginners, the event is the perfect chance to learn a bit more about their hobby. Because many big biking brands will be selling their wares at discounted rates, this is a great time to stock up on the essentials.Trek mountain bikes have donated a bike worth £500 to the raffle.
Because the talks, exhibitions and sales on offer are too good to miss, the event is likely to be well attended. Even the chance to win a great Trek mountain bike is too good to miss. A variety of food and drink will be available. Locally produced cider is sure to be a hit. In the wider event, throughout the city, there will be many events taking place, including an art exhibition with a bicycle theme.
