Twilight Barbie dolls are getting to be all the rage with devotees of the Twilight novels by Stephenie Meyer and the legions of devotees of the motion picture spin-offs. The idea of motion picture and TV related Barbie dolls isn’t a new one, with the X-Files and The Lord Of The Rings all having official Barbie dolls created of their classic characters, and there are others in addition to those too.
At this point, with the creation of two Barbie vogue dolls based mostly on the classic couple from Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn (along with Midnight Sun, the unfinished, unpublished alternate version of the ‘Twilight’ novel), fans are ready to add two more versions of their favorite vampire and human couple to their shelves.
Collectors could wish to keep these Twilight Barbie dolls in their motion picture-themed packaging, but the actual pleasure in the dolls is unpacking them, posing them and enjoying them to their utmost rather than leaving them alone in their packaging. Each of the dolls arrives dressed in an exceedingly good cloth costume closely based mostly on the apparel used on the stars in the movies, and they look nice, but some devotees could want to raise the problem of whether they give the impression of being just like the actors themselves.
Whereas each the Edward Cullen and Bella Swan Barbie dolls have faces that are changed from the usual Barbie and Ken moulds, they do not resemble the stars all that much. Fortunately, with the hair and the costumes, they give the impression of being spot on, but their facial features come back across as a little too stylized to appear just like the actors they’re based mostly on.
Having said that, these Twilight Barbie Dolls are sure to create any follower of the saga sparkle with excitement, and they provide one thing a little more weighty than just regular movie action figures. The Twilight Barbie Dolls, while not perfect, are a very sensible idea for fans of Twilight this Xmas.
